How Genesis works

  1. Step 1. Bring in your history.

    PDFs, a clinical summary, or the export from your patient portal.

    Now connects to Epic MyChart at supported health systems.

    More patient portals coming soon.

    Genesis on the web: Upload documents (PDFs, C-CDA, or records you already have) and Connect a portal (MyChart or another clinic portal. Search by name.)

  2. Step 2. Your name is removed before anything is sent.

    Ready to build, 3 files: portal-summary.pdf, lab-results-2024.pdf, ccd-2025.xml. Ready to send, with your name removed. Your name, numbers and exact dates were removed, and a check found none left. Removed: 41 details that could identify you, 128 exact dates, 2 ages.

  3. Step 3. Where your sources disagree.

    Genesis flags what it could not settle on its own. Each one shows what it read and where it came from.
